SCHEDULE
Founded on the northern shore of the Arno river, the ancient city of Pisa still maintains its old-fashioned charm. The most important landmark of this old maritime republic is Piazza dei Miracoli, where you can see the majestic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Precisely from this spot, you can admire a magnificent view of the city, including the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Monumental Churchyard.
After this first stop, our next destination will be Lucca, a beautiful city where the old Roman streets are being preserved. You will have a lunch in a typical restaurant there, followed by a visit to the Amphitheatre Square, so-called because it rises on the ancient ruins of a Roman Amphitheatre. The imposing walls which surround the city have remained intact even after centuries of outward expansions, and are fully accessible on foot or by bike.
